Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use CardSwap GH (“we”, “us”), a service that buys gift cards from users in Ghana and pays for them in Ghana cedis (GH₵). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use CardSwap GH

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
• You may hold one account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or used on someone else's behalf.
• You must give accurate information, including your name, phone number and ID details.

2. Selling a gift card

• You may only sell gift cards that you legally own, that were obtained lawfully, and that have not been used, redeemed, reported lost or stolen, or bought with stolen payment details.
• The rate shown when you submit a card is locked for that trade. Rates change over time and are set at our discretion.
• Every card is checked by our team before payment. Cards are usually reviewed within a few hours (8am–10pm), but we do not guarantee a review time.
• We may reject any card, for example if the code is invalid or already redeemed, the value or country doesn't match, the photo is unclear, or we suspect fraud. A rejected card is not paid for.
• Once a card has been accepted and its value redeemed, the trade cannot be reversed.
• We may set minimum and maximum card values, and change them at any time.

3. Your wallet and withdrawals

• Approved trades are credited to your CardSwap GH wallet in GH₵. The wallet is not a bank account and does not earn interest.
• The minimum withdrawal is GH₵ 50. Withdrawals are sent to a mobile money or bank account in your own name.
• Withdrawals above GH₵ 2,000 require a verified ID. We may ask for ID verification at any time.
• We may hold or reject a withdrawal, and return the money to your wallet, if the account name does not match your ID or we need to investigate.
• You are responsible for giving the correct payout details. We are not liable for money sent to details you provided incorrectly.

4. Rewards and referrals

• Referral bonuses, challenge rewards and badges are optional promotions. We may change, pause or end them at any time.
• Referral bonuses are paid only when the referred person verifies their ID and completes a qualifying approved trade, and are limited per month.
• Rewards obtained through multiple accounts, shared devices or payout accounts, self-referrals or other abuse will be cancelled, and the accounts involved may be closed.

5. Fraud and prohibited use

• You must not use CardSwap GH for fraud, money laundering, scams, or to sell cards obtained from someone else without their permission.
• We run automated and manual fraud checks. We may suspend or close accounts, withhold funds connected to suspected fraud while we investigate, and report suspected crimes to the authorities.
• Never share your password, or a card code anywhere other than the Sell form. Our staff will never ask for your password.

6. Support

Our in-app assistant uses AI to answer questions and can open a ticket for a person on our team. AI answers may occasionally be wrong; decisions about your trades and payouts are made by our staff.

7. Liability

We provide the service as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example network, mobile money or bank outages). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ghanaian law that cannot be excluded.

8. Changes and closing your account

We may update these terms; we will show the new date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. You may close your account at any time by emailing cardswapgh00@gmail.com; any wallet balance not involved in an investigation will be paid out first.
